Packing

I finished the last minute shopping and have everything packed. I had to take out the blanket and roll is up like a bed roll. I'll bring that on the plane. I found some baseball gloves and balls that I am bringing. I have three books, the Bible plus two others. As I think the plane ride is about 20 hours, I should have plenty of reading time. I also bought a diary to keep track of what happens and my camera to record it. At least that is the plan. We'll see how that works out.

My thanks to everyone that helped to make this possible. I hope to do good things but am still waiting to know what that is from God. Today's sermon at church was again about blessing we ask for. Too often we tell God that we are doing his work but we are really just taking our own plan and putting it forth our way. We need to take God's work and do it God's way.

I pray that we have a safe trip, everyone that leaves comes home in good health. There are 11 people from our church in Southern Maryland and 2 people form the Collage Park Weslyan Church.
